Did you know that Blackbirds only appeared in urban gardens in the 1830s?  Before then, they lived in woodland or heath.  Join us to find out more about birds: identify where they might nest, what they feed on and how their calls vary.  Using binoculars and identification charts, have a go at identifying and recording the birds you spot.

Tutor: All activities are run by FSC staff.

Additional information: All children must be accompanied. Make sure to bring appropriate clothing and footwear in case the ground is muddy and plenty of enthusiasm.

To book: Book online using our secure system. If you are unable to book online, please contact the Centre. By making a booking, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. Please enter the following information in the special requirements box: Names and ages of children attending the activity; Any Medical and SEN Information not already provided; How you found out about activity e.g. website / facebook / email.
