This one day workshop will take participants on a journey through Tollymore Forest Park in search of tracks & signs of wildlife. Your tutor, an experienced tracker, will introduce you to the basics of wildlife tracking, what to look for and where to look. Tollymore Forest Park is home to deer, fox, badger, pine marten & squirrel, among others. We will focus on the track and sign of mammals & birds.

The course is aimed at those with little or no prior experience in tracking, or those wishing to refresh their knowledge. All you need is curiosity and an eagerness to learn more about our native wildlife. Much of the day will be spent walking in the forest looking for and identifying tracks & signs.

This course runs from 10am to 4pm, and includes a packed lunch.
