After studying Marine Biology at Swansea University, Bryony worked as an outdoor pursuits instructor, sharing her love of the outdoors and building on her experience of leading groups in exciting and challenging environments. During this time she also volunteered with a number of environmental charities, which included several months spent researching manta rays in the Maldives. In 2015, Bryony returned to academia to conduct a Masters at the University of Exeter, researching the effects of climate change on marine environments and fisheries, before joining the FSC in 2017.
