Students will investigate the biotic and abiotic factors within a local woodland environment, comparing the differences between coniferous and deciduous woodlands.

As well as covering specific elements of the biology curriculum this course will also place a strong emphasis on developing personal confidence, team-building and problem solving skills and opportunities to consider aspects of Citizenship.
