This fun weekend course is for anyone with a little experience, to advanced painters in watercolours. We will show you how to turn an ordinary painting into an extraordinary one! We will take you beyond the typical painting materials, by using household materials and other ‘craft items’ to achieve a fresher, more exciting painting style. Great fun! This course will be studio-based.
Linda and Caroline will take you through each method with a demonstration of the techniques and then guiding you through the process by having a go yourself. You will be using everyday materials found around the house or garden and you will be amazed at how easy it is to produce lively, interesting textures. These everyday objects will be supplied by the tutors but if you would like to bring your own, here are some of the items you will be using: cling film, bubble wrap, tissue paper, salt, masking fluid, sponges, drinking straws, wax and even gin!
