This is slow art, but relaxing, rewarding and a bit different.
Tutor Helen Hanson has a fresh approach to landscape, using waterproof drawing pens and artist-quality coloured pencils in a creative combination. Focusing on the waterside at Flatford, she will guide you through the techniques she uses to create foliage, flowers, sky and water. Pen and coloured pencil techniques are easy to learn and will be demonstrated, together with embossing, lifting out and other special effects. Each day will provide a step-by-step approach, with individual support and encouragement to develop your own style.
This course is also run the previous day. These two introductory days can be booked singly or together, with the aim of producing one image or a complementary pair. A 10% discount is applied if you join both days and accommodation is available. Call the centre on 01206 297110 to book this.
