What do we need to survive in the wild?
Identify basic survival needs and practise the bushcraft skills you would need to survive outdoors.
Build a shelter against the elements; learn how to light a fire the wilderness way; make your own hot drink maybe even cook a tasty snack!
A day filled with back to nature activities, great fun for children and adults alike.
Most suitable for families with children between 7 – 12, but open to all.

Before You Attend
Please meet promptly at session start time outside the Willy Lott’s House at or just before 11am.
We would love to take some promotional photos of you enjoying the sessions, if you are happy to be part of this, please download and fill out the photo consent form found here, or you can fill out a paper copy on arrival at the centre. We will also be providing a packed lunch so please tell us if you have any dietary requirements.
What to bring?
Warm clothes, waterproofs and sturdy shoes (walking boots or wellies). We will be out in the elements, so please dress appropriately.
