Explore life between the tides as we explore East Prawle’s stunning rocky shore environment. From giant kelp fronds to miniature anemones, every rock pool holds a secret ecosystem waiting to be discovered. Here in South Devon, we are incredibly lucky to have 125 miles of coastline on our doorstep, much of which is lined with rocks and rockpools. In this walk-and-talk event, you will learn about local marine wildlife, how to identify rocky shore animals and algae, and what to look out for in future adventures. Foldout guides can be borrowed during the walk and can be purchased at the end.
