This is a new course at Juniper Hall that is aimed at graduates and early professionals who wish to develop their fieldwork skills.  This course, focussed on coastal and freshwater environments and will include species identification skills, fieldwork design, GIS using ArcGIS online and analysis that will include statistics.

Aside from botanical skills, participants will also take part in surveys related to these habitats that include invertebrate surveys and microscope work.

This course allows participants to build up their skill base.  It could be incredibly valuable for those looking to move into environmental consultancy, survey work, teaching or research.

A certificate of attendance will be given with skills and areas covered for each participant.  This course can be completed as a stand-alone course.  It can also be studied alongside our complimentary course: Developing Fieldwork Skills for Graduates and Early Professionals 1 – Grasslands and Woodlands running in May.  If both courses are booked, a 10% discount will be applied to both courses.
