Grab your torch and join us on an evening bat walk for families (this is a family activity aimed at children aged 7-12). Join our staff and find out more about the UK’s only flying mammal – the bat! As dusk falls, we will explore the area, which is perfect for bats, with its mix of ponds, grassland and woodland. We will use bat detectors to find out what species may be living locally, learn about them and about what makes each species different.
