This course is designed to follow on from the beginners course, or be a stand-alone course for those students who have some prior experience of painting in oils.  Using reference materials provided, students will learn how to be selective, and use “artistic licence” to create a good composition. We will discuss the use of “split primaries” and experiment with different techniques. All the participants will be encouraged to paint freely and expressively and enjoy the process.
