Dates are being revised due to Covid-19

Drawing is making a mark! Come and enjoy learning to turn those marks into recognisable images, using a variety of subjects including landscape, figures, still life and buildings. Linda will demonstrate a technique or subject, and you will then have a go. Her drawing techniques follow traditional rules which she believes you have to know before you break them! The morning will be spent on drawing indoors from photographs and life, looking at tone, perspective and creating movement with your marks in graphite, charcoal and ink. The afternoon will be spent outdoors drawing the landscape including trees, water and structures, learning how to create layers and distance in monochre.
