Infrared photography is used extensively by landscape and wildlife photographers, and also by portrait, fine art and scientific photographers.

This workshop will introduce you to various aspects of IR photography, both monochrome and colour, for creative imagery as well as more technical imagery. Techniques for post-processing will also be demonstrated.

Digital cameras need to be converted for IR use so much of this workshop will be demonstrated based though there will be at least one to borrow. We will shoot images both outside in the field (weather permitting), and indoors. Recommendations will be made for those wanting to pursue their own IR imaging. You are welcome to contact the tutor before the workshop for advice regarding equipment.
