On this stained glass Christmas angel course you will learn how to create up to two of your own stained glass angels, from a pre-drawn design.
Each angel will be 15cm tall. You can then hang them on a wall as a decoration or in a window as a suncatcher.
This course will involve:
- Choosing your glass
- Cutting your glass,
- Shaping and copper foiling your glass
- Soldering your piece together.
This workshop is suitable for any level of experience, including total beginners.
All the materials and tools for the course will be supplied.
Included in the course fee are enough materials to complete two angels.
Tutor: Claire Fernig
Claire works with lead, copper foil and fused glass techniques from a small studio based in Felixstowe, crafting a wide range of items from traditional leaded windows to delicate fused-glass jewellery. Claire takes a lot of inspiration from nature, a love of sailing, the beach and the sea around where she works and lives. Claire accepts commissions, runs workshops and repairs leaded stained glass.
