Find out all about the animals of Mop End. Identify and release small mammals from the humane traps. Make bird feeders, hunt for bugs, chop back invasive plant species and help look after the animals forest homes on this practical outdoor day.
Children need to bring appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear for all sessions and a packed lunch.
Extended hours are available to children aged 8-11 only:
Morning 08:30 -09:30 Cost/child: £6.00 – Select Child Option 1
Afternoon 15:00 – 17:30 Cost/child: £9.00 – Select Child Option 2
During extended hours sessions our staff will arrange a variety of un-timetabled, free choice activities and crafts for the children during this time. The children will be fully supervised. Snacks and drinks are provided for those staying after 15:00.

- All sessions led by friendly and professional tutors.
- All staff are trained in First Aid and all activities are risk assessed.
- Staffing ratios 1:6 (5-7 years old) and 1:8 (8-14 years old).

Booking conditions
- Activities take place outdoors and children should wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the conditions.
- Amersham Field Centre cannot accept responsibility for unaccompanied children before and after specified times.
- Amersham Field Centre is on the site of an electricity substation, children must be kept away from the boundary fences.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission to poorly behaved children.
- We may amend the programme if necessary.
- We reserve the right to cancel activities if insufficient bookings are taken.
- Payment should be made in advance and is non-refundable unless the course is cancelled.
- The course age ranges comply with Ofsted National Childcare Standards, it is in the interest of your child’s safety to observe these guidelines.
