If you can sign your name then you have the dexterity to draw – it’s learning to SEE and interpret the subject that is important.
On this one-day course, Carole will teach you a variety of techniques aimed at helping you to learn to draw, master shading techniques and build up textures. Working from a variety of natural objects, some of our “experiments” will be looking at the effects that can be achieved by using different grades of graphite pencils, creating tonal contrast with charcoal and a kneadable eraser, and ink drawing with a twig and a fibre tipped pen.
