Learn how to make a traditional round basket using English willow. The day will start with instruction on types of willow, choosing, buying and planting your own materials. You will learn at least three different weaves plus a border technique. You will take home a completed basket which could be used for serving bread or many other things.
Tutor: Deb Hart
Deb has been weaving for over 20 years making large structures for the RHS and many garden designers. She has also been teaching for over 30 years in horticulture as well as weaving and sculpture.

What to Bring
- Wear layers in case it is cold and sensible footwear, if the weather is nice we may go outside.
- All tools and materials will be supplied by the tutor.
