Field Studies Council have signed a joint statement strongly supporting the return of fieldwork requirements in GCSE and A Level Geography. The statement is a collaboration with The Geographical Association, Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) and Discover the World Education.
The statement recognises the vital importance of fieldwork experiences and the challenges facing schools and colleges to reinvigorate fieldwork post-pandemic.
