Jo Harris and Dr Rob Parker being presented with GA publishing award 2026

We are delighted to announce that the Urban Environments Fieldwork Knowledge Booster Series has been awarded Silver in the Geographical Association Publishers Awards.

Our Education Manager, Jo Harris, and Dr Rob Parker of Time for Geography were presented with the award at this week’s Geographical Association Conference 2026.

The award recognises the two-part series on qualitative and quantitative fieldwork in human geography we created in partnership with Time for Geography. The video resources bring urban regeneration, practical fieldwork methods and classroom-ready guidance together for teachers and students.

Jo said “Working together with Time for Geography, The University of Sheffield and The University of the West of England we have created a fantastic resource, and I’m thrilled it has been recognised with this award.”
