Saturday 18th July. 10am till 3pm

Get ready for a fantastic day of outdoor discovery as the Festival of Nature returns, bigger, brighter, and (fingers crossed!) a little drier! Last year we raised an amazing £1,643.06 for our Grants Fund, helping pupils access life changing fieldwork at Juniper Hall. This year, we can’t wait to welcome even more families and nature‑lovers.

Enjoy a full day of hands‑on wildlife activities for all ages, including minibeast hunts, pond dipping, small mammal trapping, moth trapping, and bushcraft. Learn more about the plants and animals that call our beautiful grounds home, and explore stalls from local natural history experts, artists, and craft makers.

New for this year! We’re excited to welcome Wild About Britain, who will be bringing live animals, including birds of prey, amphibians, and reptiles, all species that can be found right here in the UK. It’s a rare chance to get up close to these fascinating creatures and learn from a specialist handler.

And of course, no festival is complete without delicious food, enjoy our BBQ, plus homemade cakes.

Come celebrate nature, wildlife, and community with us at this joyful family event!
