Field Studies Council are giving you and your team the chance to win a corporate volunteering day at a field centre of your choice.
Our goal is to get people outdoors and learn about nature in nature. Through volunteering, you will help support nature recovery and create environmentally friendly centres, which are visited by tens of thousands of children, community groups, and the public every year. All whilst contributing to biodiversity and supporting employee wellbeing and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals.

Our volunteering days are bespoke to you and your interests, but could include*:
- Guided walks and tours of our sites and nature spaces
- Wildlife surveys focused on topics such as birds, insects, or trees
- Invasive non-native species (INNS) removal to support our native species
- Habitat creation and restoration such as wildflower and tree planting, and pond clearance
- Sprucing up educational spaces and areas used by school groups and visitors
(*Please note that activities are seasonal and centre dependant.)

“ABTOT enjoyed a rewarding day at Field Studies Council Epping Forest via their Corporate Volunteering scheme. The team were helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable and put us to work clearing brambles, sedge grass and roots and then transplanting marsh grass. We had muddy boots and rosy cheeks, and it was just great to be outside doing some useful manual labour rather than another day sat in front of computers. We will definitely look to do this again soon – good for team building, great for giving back and a lovely place to spend some outdoors time.”
– Samantha, ABTOT
