Slapton Ley Field Studies Council and National Nature Reserve is delighted to invite you to our annual Research Seminar, hosted on Saturday 14th November across Slapton Village Hall and Slapton Field Centre.
This year’s event will showcase the incredible research and work conducted in and around Slapton Ley and the surrounding area, with talks from a diverse range of speakers. Stick around after a delicious lunch spread to network and learn more at the Marketplace of Ideas. There will be a range of local charities and organisations, from across South Devon, who will be able to discuss their latest research and projects, hopefully sharing ideas to forge further environmental change in the future.
There is no charge for the event and lunch will be provided. Presentations will begin at 10am and the event will end at 4pm. Transport from Totnes train station can be arranged for those traveling from further away, on request.
Weekend package for £65!
After the success of the weekend package last year, Slapton Ley Field Centre will be opening its doors once again, with two nights B&B stay and a guided walk around Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve.
We invite people to make their way down on Friday 13th November, with the opportunity to meet and network with attendees. Breakfast will be provided ahead of the seminar on Saturday and again on Sunday morning, before a guided tour of the reserve to showcase its amazing wildlife, and the work we do to preserve it.
Call for contributors
We welcome South Devon based environmental, wildlife, education (or similar) organisations, charities or individuals to get in touch to host a stand at the Marketplace of Ideas in the afternoon.
