Come and create your own colourful Easter wreath at Flatford Mill whilst being guided by our expert tutor, Jeni Bates.
Firstly, we will be weaving the base wreath. To do this, you can choose to weave an egg shape or a traditional round wreath from ivy or wisteria. Participants will enjoy the therapeutic benefits of wreath weaving whilst tapping into your creative side.
You will then be invited to choose from a selection of seasonal flowers and foliage to decorate your wreath, along with wooden eggs and recycled or biodegradable ribbons and twine.
Tutor: Jeni Bate
I enjoy seeing the wonder in the simplest of things in nature. I create bio art from my studio in Suffolk where I also run workshops, for wreath making, and upcycling,
I trained as a montessori teacher many moons ago which has helped my teaching style.
I enjoy seeing the positive impact creating has on wellbeing and mental health and maintaining a sustainable approach is always at the forefront of what I do.
It is a joy for me to facilitate and encourage students to create bespoke pieces of art they can take home.
