Outdoor learning groups pricing

Our prices for outdoor learning groups include teaching, accommodation, food, bedding and free loan of wellies and waterproofs.  

We have three pricing bands, off peak (Nov-Feb), standard (Mar-May and Aug-Oct) and peak (Jun-Jul) and pricing is based on the number of nights you stay. Courses usually start and finish at lunchtime, but we can extend or reduce this, which will be reflected in the final price. With free places for teachers/group leaders (1 for every 12 participants) we aim to provide value-for-money prices that are clear and transparent. 

We can help you with in-course transport if it is required. You can book it through us or provide your own. Our suppliers may even be able to collect you from your site. 

If you are booked onto a curriculum subject or outdoor learning trip, you can still enjoy adventure activities. Just talk to the team and we can add on the price of a session like canoeing or climbing for £8/person. If you need transport to any of your fieldwork or adventure sites you can provide your own, or book it through us. 

At Dale Fort and Blencathra, some activities are priced on the number of participants, so please contact us if you want to book a power boat or RIB ride, canoeing or rock climbing at those centres. 

The final programme will be agreed with you before your visit based on your objectives and outcomes. Very occasionally weather conditions or changes to staff availability mean we need to adjust activities.  Any adjustments are made to ensure you still enjoy a safe, meaningful and enjoyable experience and we will let you know any changes as soon as possible.
