Competent and hard-working tutor. Old microscopes. Poor teacher pupil ratio of 1:14. Some of the moss samples we were given were very small (a lot of pupils). I had one unbranched piece of a pleurocarp which made it impossibe to ID. The course in late Apri with subsequent field assignment to be carried out in May was held far too late and that was restrictive and limiting. It would have been more usefully held in January, February or March at worst.
