This was,as usual, a course which was both instructive and enjoyable. I improved my knowledge of birds and of botany as a result of the hugely knowlegeable leaders who have endless patience with course members.
The accommodation, particularly at the Temple View Hotel was very good.
I did find the travel arrangements rather more difficult than they have been for previous trips but this was to a large extent as a result of the very unhelpful way in which Calmac had changed their routes and times. Nevertheless i enjoyed the travel by air that I admit I only reluctantly booked.
