Again, Becky and Frances were incredible facilitators. It was great to have them both there, as well, seeing as this was an introduction course, so having the option to ask one-on-one questions in the field or in the lab was very important. This also was a perfectly tailored precursor to the Lichen ID course — I felt prepared, and knowledgable enough to move on into the intermediate course (quite a feat for the teachers to do this within just a few days!). Becky and Frances made both of these courses worth every penny. The FSC is very fortunate to provide the facilities for such programmes, led by phenomenal researchers.
