My first visit to Kindrogan – what a stunning location. James was an excellent tutor, with an astonishing knowledge of the local flora. An unexpected bonus was bagging my first (and my last, I’m sure) Munro at Cairnwell – the tutor and course colleagues providing much assistance to drag me up the direct ascent! I learned much and hugely enjoyed the fabulous scenery. The accommodation was comfortable and the evening meals excellent. Unfortunately we did not see many birds or mammals – even the famous Kindrogan pine martens were elusive. I do hope I can come back to Kindrogan in the future.
