Join us in the mountains of Eryri, North Wales for a one‑day Leading Learning Outdoors CPD using a ghyll scramble activity.
The focus of this day experience is on:
- leading learning beyond the classroom
- professional judgement and decision making
- managing uncertainty, challenge and inclusion
- embedding reflection into real experiences
Using a carefully structured journey through a local ghyll, participants experience how adventure learning works in practice – and how it can be transferred directly into school trips, outdoor lessons, fieldwork and enrichment days.
And to be frank: it’s also just a great day to get exploring outdoors, at the end of the summer term.
No previous experience required. This free event welcomes primary and secondary teachers, year heads, subject leads, PE teachers, or any staff who are involved with outdoor learning. Places are limited to keep the experience small, supported and reflective.
Comments from previous CPD participants:
“I valued the reflection and professional discussions.”
“Integrating uncertainty into outdoor learning and making use of teachable moments are concepts I can take back to school.”
“+Adventure focuses on the hidden curriculum skills and an individualised approach.”
