Day 2
Wednesday evening we'll gather for a delicious supper and a warm welcome. This is your chance to meet me as your tutor, get to know your fellow participants, and enjoy a relaxed introduction to the flow of the course ahead.
Day 2
Thursday begins with a forest bathing experience—a gentle, sensory wander through the woods with invitations designed to help you build meaningful relationships with each other and the natural world. As you slow down and open your senses, you'll gather materials for weaving while enjoying time to share and chat. You'll learn the ancient art of cordage, discovering how to harvest and prepare fibres from plants like dandelion, bramble, nettle, willow, and more, then twist them into beautiful natural cord using traditional twining techniques.
Day 3
Friday focuses on the craft of weaving with bark, where you'll learn how to harvest willow bark and create your own small vessel using the materials you've gathered and prepared. We'll close with a simple gratitude ceremony, sipping herbal tea gathered from the land.
