Come and create your own colourful easter wreath at Flatford Mill whilst being guided by our expert tutor, Jeni Bate.
Firstly, we will be weaving the base wreath. To do this you can choose to weave an egg shape or traditional round wreath from ivy or wisteria. Participants will enjoy the therapeutic benefits of wreath weaving whilst tapping into your creative side.
You will then be invited to choose from a selection of seasonal flowers and foliage to decorate your wreath along with wooden eggs and recycled or biodegradable ribbons and twine.
About the tutor
Jeni Bate
Hello, I am Jeni I am totally looking forward to meeting you and sharing my passion for bio-art with you.
I think one of the most exciting things about wildcrafting is that there is no wrong or right way, the beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder.
I am hoping that you will enjoy the therapeutic benefits of working together with nature and art. I have been creating bespoke pieces of wild art for over 20 years, my experience as a Montessori teacher very much influences my teaching style.
Guiding you to create pieces of Bio art to treasure, and skills you will hold forever is my goal.
Sustainability is of the utmost importance and this is always reflected in my teaching and practice.
