During this macrame rainbows workshop, you will be creating your own rainbow style macrame wall hanging.

You’ll be able to have your pick of colours for this project, so you can really think outside the box and maybe go for shades of green, shades of purple, or indeed the colours of the traditional rainbow. During this macrame rainbows course you will become very familiar with the half square knot which naturally creates a twist which gives a very tradition macrame look.

About the tutor

Gemma Gilbert

Gemma has been a macrame artist since 2020 and her first ever project was a macrame plant hanger; they are still one of her favourites to create. She fell in love with the craft due to its versatility and creativity, and just loves that something so beautiful can be created from just a few simple knots. During her time as an artist she has attended online workshops. I have even travelled to Seville in Spain for a week’s macrame retreat. Macrame is more than a hobby to me, it’s a way to calm my mind and to bring people together whilst creating something beautiful.
