Would you like to explore the art of wild crafting? Join artist Jeni Bate for our wild crafting workshop at Flatford Mill.

On this wild crafting adventure, we will be creating:

  •  Summer festival style flower crowns (and wearing them of course!) using a selection of seasonal flowers and foliage.
  • Tie forever hand posies, using dry flowers foliage and ribbons.
  • Weaving mini heart wreaths, from Ivy or wisteria.

You will learn these skills so you can continue your wild crafting in your own time, and take home your 3 pieces of bespoke bio art.

About the tutor

Jeni Bate

Hello, I am Jeni and I am totally looking forward to meeting you and sharing my passion for bio art with you. I think one of the most exciting things about wild crafting is that there is no right or wrong way, the beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder.
I am hoping that you will enjoy the therapeutic benefits of working together with nature and art.
I have been creating bespoke pieces of wild art for over 20 years, my experience as a Montessori teacher very much influences my teaching style.
Guiding you to create pieces of Bio art to treasure, and skills you will hold forever is my goal.
Sustainability is of the upmost importance and is always reflected in my teaching and practice.
