Planning your trip
To support teachers and school staff with their trip planning the Outdoor Education Advisor’s Panel (OEAP) has a helpful FAQs guide. It includes guidance on why Risk Assessments from providers are of limited help to schools. Field Studies Council is proud that all our Centres have been awarded the Quality Badge by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom. Each Centre achieved the badge by demonstrating that they consistently deliver high quality teaching and learning experiences to school groups and manage risk effectively. This means that you do not have to assess them and therefore have less paperwork to complete. All location certificates can be found here.
If you would like to visit our Centres before your visit please contact us directly to arrange a time and we would be happy to show you around the Centre, our fieldwork sites and answer any questions you have.
