We have 6 adventure activity centres in the UK, which all hold AALA certificates and LOtC certification to deliver adventure activities and enrichment programmes, safely and enjoyably for schools trips.

Our North Wales centre Rhyd-y-Creuau in North Wales is based in the stunning landscape of Snowdonia, and not far from the well known adventure hub of Betws y Coed.

Dale Fort, Pembrokeshire, Wales

Our coastal adventure centre Dale Fort in Pembrokeshire is situated in a renovated World War 2 fort, and situated at the end of Dale peninsuala with amazing 360 degree views!

Located on the picturesque Isle of Cumbrae in the Firth of Clyde, Field Studies Council Millport is an activity centre in Scotland delivering opportunities for adventure and learning.

Blencathra, Cumbria, North Lake District

Located 300m up, on the south facing slopes of Blencathra mountain, with views for miles, our activity centre Blencathra is found in the North Lake District.

Castle Head, Cumbria, South Lake District

Castle Head, Cumbria is our dedicated adventure centre located at the southern gateway to the Lake District National Park.

Preston Montford, Shropshire, West Midlands

Located just outside Shrewsbury on the banks of the River Severn, Preston Montford is surrounded by rolling countryside with views into Wales.

Field Studies Council is proud that all our Centres have been awarded the Quality Badge by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom. Each Centre achieved the badge by demonstrating that they consistently deliver high quality teaching and learning experiences to school groups and manage risk effectively.
