A continuation of the Using flora – to identifying ferns and mosses. So good practice in looking up, technical terms, repetition and perseverance. Excellent, patient tutor, good company and food; as well as accommodation. Friendly, helpful staff – able to borrow clip-board and back pack. Plenty of specimens.

We saw many wonderful ferns and mosses in the most beautiful locations.

I was very happy with all aspects of my chosen course and look forward to continuing my interest in calligaphy.

Very friendly and knowledgeable tutors and staff. Course was a great introduction to survey techniques and identification, particularly for plants. Also very good to establish if a career in field ecology is for you.
