The leader was very knowledgeable but an extremely poor communicator and disorganised.
He was inaudible and when asked to speak up just suggested that the information was passed to the rest of the group. Difficult as it was often impossible to hear him initially and I have good hearing.
Although he knew the sites he had not been to them recently and not found best entry routes – as a result it often meant climbing under barbed wire or over metal gates.
The course was at the wrong time of year for most plants and too long as not varied enough habitats – it would be best combined with wildlife/birds
