Excellent – a hands-on introduction to aquatic plants embracing submerged, floating and emergent species run by Mark Duffell. The range of plants covered started with commoner species to get you up and running and progressed to scarce, rare or trickier species in terms of ID. An ideal course to kick-start you into exploring this range of plants that I think is suitable for improvers and beginners alike. It will give you the confidence to crack on by yourself. But the course is much more than this, Mark has such in-depth knowledge that it’s not just a plain ID lesson but goes into the ecology and history/folklore of the plants covered and more. Even if you go off-piste, Mark will know all the answers (botanically of course!). Strongly recommended.
