An excellent day with Alan Pentecost as our most knowledgeable tutor! I got a better feel for the subject – lichens have always fascinated me but I struggle to get a handle on them and this course helped. Its good to find yourself in the company of other folk who are also fascinated by the same subject be it lichens, mosses and liverworts, birds or botany. A good day thoroughly enjoyed – and by the way – the buffet was plentiful and beautiful!
