Dr Burkmar has constructed a carefully paced and comprehensive introduction to this software, and provides graded steps to its uses. Although inevitably biased towards the potential role of QGIS in biological recording, the course is also an excellent introduction to the many tools and resources available, and plenty of time is devoted to undertake exercises using them, ably supported by the tutor. Highly recommended.
