Can’t go wrong at a FSC Centre! The course was great and very engaging – pitched at a level where beginners gained confidence quickly and those with more experience could still learn something. All materials were provided and the lectures and reading material were stimulating and thought-provoking. The course was very field-based which gave a good opportunity to refine skills and “real world” practical ability; not just emphasis on the theoretical element and knowledge-building.
Flatford Mill is a great centre – probably my favourite FSC Centre so far – and is set in beautiful surroundings. Staff were all brilliant, and as with any FSC Course, you are beyond well-fed (potentially coming home having put on weight!) with hearty meals, cake and refreshments aplenty. I stayed as a non-resident so can’t comment on the rooms – but from my other experiences these have been basic but comfortable and equipped with what you need.
