Loved the course and it was great to have flexibility in the levels of ability in the class. I am a complete beginner, but didn’t feel overawed by those who were doing diploma standard work, nor did I feel that I was holding them back. The tutor, Gaynor, was a good combination of sympathetic, encouraging and strict for example when the discipline of holding the nib correctly needed attention. She gave everyone time and attention in turn. The group was very nice, varied in age and background, and very friendly. Meals were adequate, though all the staff were away for a wedding and the ones who were left coped admirably. I’ll definitely come back.
