I went on this course with a slight interest in slugs and have come out really excited and fired up about them. The tricks about identifying them to species level (do they rock when stroked? Is their slime yellow? Do they move really fast?) were invaluable, and the introduction to slugs was a great way to start the course. getting everyone to being in their own specimens and encouraging u to submit records was fab too, I’ve purchased the slug id book, done some identifying, and already painted an illustration of the green cellar slug. Brilliant course.
