This course lived up to my expectations. Our tutor Ben was extremely knowledgeable whose clear and concise teaching method enabled a wealth of information transference for assessing NVC Heathland habitats. I learnt a lot in a short space of time. I was perhaps not prepared for the length of hill walking involved but the personal challenge was worth the necessary effort to enable views of all habitat types. The food and staff attendance at FSC was also excellent so my thanks to staff there.
