Great habitats chosen for today – a visit by minibus to a bog/ Heath. The leader was enthusiastic and made the day so enjoyable, guiding around the area and talking about many other types of flowers, plants and trees as well as dragon flies and birds. The day exceeded my expectation and has made me much more observant about the surrounding countryside and what it may contain. Even a traffic jam on the M25 passed quickly with identifying the flora on the motorway verges.
