A superb week. Liz Holden has an encyclopaedic knowledge and understanding of fungi and is a passionate communicator so I learnt a lot. The course was exceptionally well organised by her; each of us had two microscopes and a big desk to work on in the lab. Plenty of equipment to borrow and specialist books to browse. We also visited an excellent variety of habitat in the course of the week.
Accommodation basic but clean. Young staff very affable. Food good and plentiful.
