Well put together course near Millom in south Cumbria (not FSC Head Office).
It benefitted from having 2-3 leaders to provide a change of pace and focus. The indoor session was very informative and the field trip a great success with many toads spotted and heard. It seemed expensive for a day course but is well worth it – I suspect it’s the best course in the UK if natterjacks are you thing. Ruth Popely was particularly good with a challenging group ranging from the mildly-odd to the deeply eccentric.
