We thought the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacey, we liked the library with local maps laid out. The position of the fort was spectacular and it was great to walk to local”secret” bays and down to Dale for crabbing and fishing trips.We found the outside space difficult for our family as the boys were perhaps spoilt by the great grounds at Orielton, where they were able to have more freedom and make friends. We found the rockpool safari really enjoyable, the staff were fantastic, telling us all about the creatures we had caught.The adult lounge was clean and comfy, the children’s room would have benefited from a separate games room and no piano!There was nowhere for the kids to watch tv quietly.Breakfast was good,provisions for lunch excellent but we were disappointed by the quality of the evening meal,compared especially with our 2 stays at Rhyd y creuau where the food was amazing. Overall thank you for another great holiday which could only have been improved with a better quality supper and reorganisation of the children’s areas.
