Overall we had a lovely holiday although we found that the time of activities (just before tea) didn’t work as well for us as the morning sessions we had at Millport and Boxhill. Having only one child with us we found that the early morning activities helped create bonds with other children early on in the holiday and a camaraderie between families. The food was fine, some delicious, though I was a little disappointed that gluten free bread wasn’t available as it had been at the Boxhill site, as I had put down my intolerance to wheat when asked on the form. Orielton was a fab location to explore the Pembrokeshire coast which was stunning, and the grounds themselves great to explore – we loved the night walk and got to see and hear bats on site – brill!
