Superb course in a fab part of the UK. The tutor (Matt Parratt) is the best tree course tutor involved with FSC, blending a mix of social, ecological, historical and global issues plus an immense amount of knowledge and practical tips and cues to help learners. Some serious fell walking required (6-7 miles?) on one of the days, plus long study days to ensure you get maximum from it. Great location to visit Snowdonia, Portmeirion etc. The first time I’ve enjoyed being in Wales, (and I’ve tried to, for 40 years).
